Club Support for Young Carers Bucks
On Wednesday 3 June The Rotary Club of Aylesbury Hundreds presented a cheque for £2,000 to Young Carers Bucks based in Aylesbury. This sum was raised through a number of activities during our year including Rotary Rocks at the Limelight Theatre featuring The Dead Cherry Pickers Music Society, a Ceilidh, and a “Croquet & Cream Tea” afternoon. Club President Ann Routledge accompanied by Rotarians Alan Routledge and Jon Mullins presented the cheque to two representatives from Young Carers Bucks who expressed sincere thanks for the donation. They explained that the money will be used to send 14 young carers from Bucks (with 3 adults to support them) to the UK’s largest annual Young Carers Festival in Southampton at the end of June 2026.
