Youth Speaks 2026
On Saturday 24 January we held our Rotary Club Youth Competition, Youth Speaks 2026. A brilliant Youth Event kindly hosted by Church of the Holy Spirit. Our winners were from Aylesbury High School, with their debate: Should social media be banned for <16s globally?
As Chair of Judges, Laura Kyrke-Smith MP and her fellow judges chose our worthy winners from five competing teams, with topics also including That modern workplace culture is fundamentally biased in favour of men and Failure teaches students more than success.
Mayor Nidhi Mehta joined Laura in presenting the awards.
Best Team Chair went to a team from The Kingsbrook School.
Our winners will progress to the District Finals.
